About Communication!

Our 日本語のクラス is making videos in small groups that show our understanding of Japanese and send any message that we find important. I am excited to learn more about working with a group of other people on a creative project, and the process by which ideas are shared. I have also learned how to communicate the things that I value to the group.

I think communication is important because it brings people together, no matter what part of the world they may be from. When two people don't know the same language, there is often said to be a "language barrier" between them. Communication is able to remove the barrier, and allow the people to understand each other and feel more connected to the rest of the world. When people communicate with each other, they feel a sense of togetherness and they are reminded how similar every person is no matter what country they are from.

  1. I like the picture :). That is totally the sort of togetherness that open communication creates.

  2. I agree about the language barrier, it is important to acknowledge it, and be accommodating instead of shying away. Also, nice picture.
